Gary Alan YugGary Alan Yug, 67, of Elyria, died, December 2, 2017. He was born August 2, 1950 in Lorain, was a 1968 graduate of Admiral King High School and attended Lorain County Community College. From 1970-1972 he served with the United States Navy in the Mediterranean. Gary worked for eleven years at US Steel in Lorain and was the former owner/operator of Elyria Seafood. He was then employed for thirteen years at Ford Motor Company, Avon Lake retiring in 2008. He had been an avid golfer.Gary is survived by his wife of forty years, Annette R. Yug (nee: Tsarones); son, James (Kristie) Yug; grandson, Tyler Yug; mother, Mary Yug and sisters, Barbara (Kevin) Lowry and Charlene (Timothy) Yug Clodwick.He was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas A. Yug in 2016 and his father, Albert Yug.A memorial service will be Saturday December 9, 2017 at 12:00 PM at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 300 3rd Street, Elyria. Reverend June Hardy Dorsey will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Pantry. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
