Georgina C. Peace, 91, of Elyria, died July 24, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain.She was born November 25, 1921 in Newport, KY, where she lived until moving to Elyria in 1960.Georgina was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, gardening, ceramics and was a member of St. Agnes Church in Elyria.Georgina is survived by sons Barry (Ella) Peace of North Carolina and Jack (Lori) Peace, II of Elyria; granddaughters Jennifer Vanderputten and Jessica Chabotte and grandsons Barry Peace, Jr. and Joshua Peace and six great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Jack R. Peace in 2011; parents George and Lula Smith; brother Robert Smith and sisters Mildred Smith and Martina Coker (nee Smith).A graveside service will be Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
