Gerald A. Vinoverski, 78, of Lorain, died May 22, 2015 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain.He was born September 20, 1936 in Elyria, was a 1954 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School and also graduated from Oberlin Business College. He served in the National Guard for 8 years. For 39 years, Gerald was employed at Goodyear Tire in Brook Park, retiring in 1992. After retiring, he worked for several years for Jonick Trucking.Gerald is survived by his wife of 22 years Cheryl A. (nee Coven); sons Kenneth and Bruce Vinoverski; daughter Samantha (Philip) Sipe; grandson Joseph Vinoverski and a great granddaughter Riley Ann Sipe. Other family members include Bonnie (James) Humiston, David (Barb) Miller and James (Chris) Miller and brothers Louis and Roland Vinoverski.He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Florence Vinoverski.A graveside service will be Friday, May 29, 2015 at noon in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Elyria.
