Geraldine R. Lesesky (nee Pixley), 86, formerly of Elyria, died July 28, 2014 at The Oaks of Brecksville, Brecksville, OH.She was born August 2, 1927 in Elyria, where she was a 1945 graduate of Elyria High School. Geraldine had been employed as a school secretary at Clearview School in Lorain and then for 22 years, at Wilcox School in North Ridgeville, retiring in 1989. She and her husband enjoyed spending the summers in Marblehead, OH and the winters in Zephyrhills, FL.She was a member of Erie Shore Assembly of God in Port Clinton and her interests included swimming, dancing and sewing.Geraldine is survived by sons Alan Lesesky of Wilmington, NC; David (Sandy) Lesesky of Brecksville, OH; Dale (Diane) Lesesky of Elyria, OH; daughter Linda (Glenn) Smith of Boulder, CO; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Stanley E. Lesesky in 2011; father Clyde Pixley in 1944; mother Madge Skorke in 2003 and a great grandson, Aven Rowe Smith in 2007.Friends will be received Monday, August 4, 2014 in the chapel at Brookdale Cemetery, 41600 Oberlin Elyria Rd.., Elyria from 10 A.M. until the time of an 11:00 A.M. service. Reverend Janet A. Long will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Avenue Christian Church, 301 Washington Ave., Elyria,.
