Geraldine S. McNabb, 93, of Oberlin, died July 21, 2013.Gerry graduated from Northwestern University in 1939 and taught school before marrying Fred. L. McNabb. She had lived in Cuyahoga Falls and Brecksville, Ohio from 19421962 before moving to Michigan. She returned to Ohio to spend fourteen years at Kendal at Oberlin. Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. McNabb, and is survived by her daughter Marilyn, son Scott, his wife Terry, and grandsons Kirk (Abby) and Darren, and granddaughter Anna. She was a member of the Oberlin Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Until her last year, she was very active on issues of peace and justice. Memorial gifts to the American Friends Service Committee, Friends Committee on National Legislation and the Peace and National Priorities Center, P.O. Box 240344, Orchard Lake, MI 48324. Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria handled arrangements.
