Glenn Dale HovatterGlenn Dale Hovatter, 85, of Carlisle Township died November 4, 2018 at home with his family by his side following a long illness. Glenn was born April 12, 1933 in Moatsville, WV at home to the late Isaac and Ruby (nee: Wilson) Hovatter. Glenn served with the US Army during the Korean War stationed in Germany. He was employed at USS Steel Company, Lorain from 1956 until retiring in 1994. He enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.Glenn was a loving husband of sixty two years to his wife, Alice (nee: Upton); devoted father to his daughter, Shirley Hovatter and sons, Larry (Anne), Eric (Donna) and Alan Hovatter. He is also survived by grandchildren, Ashleigh Hovatter, Jessica Whorton, Samantha (Kellan) Gatzemeyer, Christina and Rebecca Hovatter; several great grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Poling and Maxine Niechlo and a special pup, Toro.He was preceded in death by a brother, Oscar Hovatter.
