Glenn Tome's Obituary
Glenn Tome passed away peacefully July 10, 2026, at Independence Village of Avon Lake.
He was born January 6, 1943, in Berea, Ohio. He was a 1961 graduate of Berea High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Baldwin Wallace University in 1966. From 1966 to 1968, he proudly served in the United States Army before beginning a long career with Ford Motor Company, where he retired as a Production Supervisor.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and reading, and was known for his steady work ethic and love for spending time with those closest to him.
Glenn is survived by son, Craig (Kate) Tome of Cleveland; daughter, Lee Anne (Chris) Moeller of Virginia; grandchildren, Tabatha, Owen, Lydia, and Alison; brother, Richard (Eileen) Tome; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, in 2024; parents Lloyd E. and Ruth H. (nee Blazek) Tome and brothers Raymond and Robert Tome.
Services will take place at a later date.
