Gordon Russell Brunger, 61 of Elyria, died June 11, 2015 at Mercy New Life Hospice, Lorain.He was born June 2, 1954 in Elyria and was a 1972 graduate of Midview High School. Gordon was a general contractor and master craftsman. He was an outdoorsman with an adventurous spirit, a certified pilot, skilled marksman, motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed fishing and traveling.Gordon is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Charles) McPherson; grandsons Charlie and Kellen McPherson and his mother Eleanor F. Brunger, all of Elyria and sisters Glenna (James) Hovatter of Garrettsville, OH and Cheryl Lutes of Sandusky.He was preceded in death by his father Richard Brunger.
