Grace Wilson Obituary
Grace L. Wilson (nee Davidson), 95, of Elyria, died Sunday, September 25, 2022. She was born July 13, 1927 in Toledo and was a 1945 graduate of Elyria High School. Grace attended Elyria Church of the Nazarene and Ladies Bible Study. She was a former member of Beta Sigma Phi and Navy Mothers. She volunteered at Brecksville VA Hospital, shot archery with Isaac Walton League and was a Detroit Tigers fan. She was an antique dealer and collector. Grace enjoyed traveling with her husband, Dale, crocheting afghans and spending time with her family. Grace is survived by sons, William J. (Dee) Wilson of Elyria and Scott D. (Margaret) Wilson of Sheffield Lake; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Wilson of Fairbanks, AK and Shirley Wolfe of Elyria and a daughter in law, Shirlee Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dale E. in 2003; son, James D. and her parents. Friends will be received Friday, September 30, 2022 from 11:00 am until the time of a 12:00 pm service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Pastor Kevin L. Coleman of Community United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. There are no gallery images.
