Harold R. “Dick” Tittel, 82, of Elyria, died January 2, 2017 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. Dick was born September 28, 1934 in Oakland, CA and from 1954 to 1957, served with the U.S. Army. He was employed as a supervisor in the mailroom at the Presidio of San Francisco from where he retired. Dick is survived by a stepdaughter, Deborah A. Schwan of Elyria and sisters, Barbara and Sharon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna L. Tittel in 1989; stepson, Dale L. Schwan in 2008, his parents, Harold and Alice Tittel and a sister Janice.
