Harold E. Carmichael, 90, of Elyria, died May 30, 2020 in his home. He was born November 21, 1929 in Winona, WV and was a graduate of Rainelle High School. Harold served with the US Army in Korea during the Korean War. For 58 years he was employed as a job setter at Ford Motor Company, Brook Park from where he retired. He was a member of AMVETS Post 32 and the Elyria Eagles #431. He enjoyed attending flea markets and traveling to casinos. Harold is survived by his wife of 72 years, Betty J. (nee Partain); son, Ed (Laurie) Carmichael of Aiken, SC; daughter in law, Linda Carmichael of Elyria; grandchildren, Chris Carmichael, Jamie Carmichael, Becky (Brian) Wransky, Stacey (Ryan) Novak, Nicole (Tyler) Runkle, and Kenny (Marcella) Carmichael; and great-grandchildren, Katie, Gracie, Addison, Kendal, Thomas, and Logan. He was preceded in death by sons, Tom in 2006 and Jerry in 2016 and seven brothers and sisters. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
