Helen E. Hancock, 84, of Elyria, died July 31, 2015 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born September 15, 1930 and was a 1949 graduate of Elyria High School. Helen is survived by a son, David Hancock of Elyria; daughter, Robin Hancock of Keyser, West Virginia; grandchildren, Jeffery, Russell and Amber Sprague and a great grandson, DeMarzhon Brooks.She was preceded in death by her husband, Dellis Lee Hancock in 1976.Friends will be received Tuesday August 4, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.A service will be Wednesday August 5, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home with Reverend Henry W. Bruner officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
