Helen E. Post (nee Gorr) of Elyria died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria.She was born December 13, 1926 in Oberlin and has been an Elyria resident most of her life. She was employed at the former Precise Models Company and the former LASCO Products in Elyria.Helen is survived by a son Gary L. Post of Amherst, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sister Patricia J. Schwarz of Elyria; brothers Durward A. (Arlene) Knepper, Jr. of Elyria, Dwight E. Knepper of Oxnard, CA and Giles A. Knepper of Amherst. She was preceded in death by her father George Gorr; mother and stepfather Marjorie and Durward A. Knepper, Sr. and a brother Donald Gorr.Friends will be received Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria, OH. A funeral service will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Reverend Janet A. Long will officiate with burial in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio.
