Helen E. Shroyer (nee: Shellhouse), 88, of Grafton Township, died June 14, 2013 at Center Ridge Health Campus in North Ridgeville. She was born October 12, 1924 in Menomonie, Wisconsin and was a graduate of Lorain High School class of 1942 B. She had lived throughout Ohio before moving to Elyria and then to Grafton in 1961. Helen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she taught primary Sunday school for many years.Helen is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gerald W.; children, Herbert (Carol) Shroyer, Patricia (Paul) Keressi, Timothy (Ruth) Shroyer, Cynthia (Steve) Farley and Clayton Shroyer; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildrenShe was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Shroyer; parents, Arthur and Theresa Shellhouse; brothers, Marvin and Theodore Shellhouse and sisters, Twyla Cryder and Margaret Coverdell.Friends will be received Wednesday June 19, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the time of a noon service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12900 South Durkee Road, Grafton. Bishop Ray Anderson will be presiding with burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Dicken Funeral Home, Elyria is in charge of arrangements.
