My deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved mother. I will always have fond memories as a student cafeteria worker at E.H.S. when Helen and my Aunt Betty always greeted us with a smile and encouraging word. Growing up at the Magyar United Church of Christ left a lasting impression and friendship with Helen. In recent years as I was visiting my Dad at Abbewood I had the pleasure of seeing Helen. We caught up on families and I shared with her about my much worn Hungarian Cookbook. Several visits later Helen surprised me with a brand new cookbook and a beautifully crocheted rainbow potholder. It hangs in my kitchen today. She was so thoughtful to my parents, too, remembering their birthdays with cards. May you find comfort knowing that Helen touched the hearts of those who knew her and that the cherished memories of a kind and thoughtful lady will not fade.
