Henry Jackson Jack Freas, 93 passed away Feb 21, 2012 at Kendal in Oberlin. Jack was born Aug 15, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Henry and Eva Freas. Most of his working career was spent as Secretary Treasurer of The Ridge Tool Company, Elyria. He was a long time member of Christ Episcopal Church in Oberlin, where he served as treasurer for over 40 years.He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Pauline; son Ted (Bonnie) Freas and daughter Karen (Jim) Hollstein; step children Lisa, Mark and Joe Farrar; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia, to whom he was married 36 years; sons Brian and Ken; brother Howard and sisters Pat, Betty and Nancy.A private family service will be held Feb 29, 2012 at Christ Episcopal Church.
