Herbert Fulger Obituary
Herbert C. Fulger, 92, of Westlake, OH and formerly of Elyria, OH and Bay Village, OH died March 24, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born January 16, 1929 in Elyria and was a 1946 graduate of Elyria High School. Herbert served with the US Navy from 1946-1948 and then graduated from Miami University, Oxford, OH in 1952. He was employed by The Glidden Company for thirty years in sales and branch management retiring in 1991. He then returned to Glidden as part of the auditing staff from 1991-1998. His interests included fishing, reading and following the sports activities of his grandchildren. He was passionate about music and was an avid card player. Herbert is survived by daughters, Laurel Stevens (Jeff Damasiewicz) and Holly Fulger; son, Herbert Fulger, Jr. of Norwalk; grandchildren, Courtney (Nathan) Cummins, Ryan (Monica) Stevens, Katie (Craig) Cassell, Madlin and Grant Fulger and Daniel and Sasha Bottitta; great grandchildren, Alec (Payton Young) Schuerger, Nolan Schuerger, Abby Schuerger, Victoria Cummins and Bodhi Cassell and dear friends, Ronald Stevens and Kevin Czekanski. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty four years, Florence in 1992; friend and companion, Eleanor Glaze; parents, Curt and Lula Fulger and sisters, Ruth McCullough and Kay Ross. Friends will be received Friday April 2, 2021 from 3:30 PM until the time of a 5:00 PM service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
