Herbert Rabjohn Obituary
Herbert L. Rabjohn, 84, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012. He was born December 17, 1927 in Akron and was a resident of Elyria for the past 57 years. After graduating from Wakeman High School in 1945, Mr. Rabjohn served two years in the U.S. Army and was later employed with GM in Elyria, retiring as supervisor in 1987 after forty years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elyria and enjoyed woodworking, golf and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Herbert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Glorine (nee Wolfe) of Elyria; daughter, Debbie (Fred) Wilson of CA; son, Randy (Chris) of Vermilion; grandchildren Josh, Travis, Fred and Jennifer Wilson and Matt, Dusty and Amy Rabjohn; great-grandchildren Mason, Reiney and Liam and two sisters, Neva of CA and Delan of Rittman.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Jr. and Ronnie Rabjohn. Friends will be received Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of an 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Sr. Frances Helen Komar with Holy Family Hospice will officiate. Interment will be private.
