Holly S. McMillen (nee Teaman), 61, of Elyria, died January 25, 2015 at Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake.She was born December 28, 1953 in Lorain and was a 1972 graduate of Admiral King High School, where she played trombone in the high school band. She earned a Bachelors degree in 1976 from Kent State University and a Masters degree in sociology from Ohio University.Holly was employed for 30 years by Lorain County Children Services, retiring as a supervisor in 2009. She was a Cleveland Indians fan and with her husband, attended Spring Training seven times in Winter Haven, FL. She also enjoyed gardening and camping at Maple Grove Marina in Vermilion.Holly is survived by her husband William H. McMillen; stepdaughter Ann McMillen; mother-in-law Margaret McMillen and niece and nephew Jennifer and Matt Teaman.She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Mildred Teaman and a brother Lance Teaman.Friends will be received Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria.A service will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.Reverend Jeff Sweitzer, chaplain of Hospice of the Western Reserve will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ames Family Hospice House, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, OH 44145-1077.
