Hugo Ferrini Obituary
Hugo Ferrini, 95, of Elyria, died May 8, 2015. He was born March 16, 1920 in Cleveland and from 1942-1945 he served with the US Army during WWII. A member of Abbe Road Baptist Church, he was a talented artist and enjoyed painting. Hugo is survived by his wife of twenty four years, Alida Hohn Ferrini; son, Laurence (Sally) Ferrini of Solon; grandson, Michael Ferrini and nieces and nephews. Also surviving are step-children, Sharon Tirch, Lois Hendricks, Loretta Haehn, Sheila Bogusz, Hilary Hohn, Michele Tucker and Alan Hohn; twenty two step-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alberta in 1979, daughter, Mary Baumgartner; sisters, Elvira, Elsie and Lydia; brothers, Fred and John and a step-daughter, Charlene Edwards.Friends will be received Tuesday May 12, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of a 11:30 AM service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Cal Searles and Reverend David Dunkin will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Abbe Road Baptist Church, 670 North Abbe Road, Elyria, 44035.
