Ila Connerth Obituary
Ila A. Connerth, 95, a longtime resident of Pittsfield Township, died April 21, 2017 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born August 15, 1921 in Glouster, Ohio and was a graduate of the former Glouster High School (Trimble High School). She was formerly employed as a custodian for the Oberlin College Campus Facilities. Ila enjoyed all sports, especially baseball and basketball and bowled for over 56 years. Ila is survived by Terry; Lois & Butch of Oberlin & Betty & David of Wellington; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; one great-great grand son and a brother frank wolf of Taylorsville NC She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Bucky” Connerth in 2004; son John R. Connerth in 1970 and sisters Dori Hines and Jane Coe. A celebration of life service in honor of Ila will be announced at a later date.
