A Memorial tree was ordered in memory of Iva Dane Blood. Plant a TreeThough I never had the chance to meet her, I truly believe she was a remarkable mother. The kindness, strength and love that Wes carries are a reflection of her beautiful spirit. Her legacy lives on through him, and that speaks volumes about the incredible woman she was.

We got to know Iva Dane when she and Dave moved to Oberlin and started attending our church. We spent many evenings together in our small groupstudy. Iva Dane was a gracious host and always made us feel welcome. Most of all she had a great love for God's wordand truly loved studying it.She and Dave had such a passion for the college students making a real effort to be involved in there lives as well. She was very proud of her kids and grandkids .We always heard the latest they were up to and was so excited to share it with us. Despite all her health struggles she always had a positive outlook trusting that God would care for her. Truly she and Dave are people we know for sure are celebrating in heaven free from the pains and suffering here. Our condolences to the family who will surely miss her .

Mrs. Blood was a wonderful woman who showed me and my family love. Marla, Daryl and I met on our first day of high-school at State College High. Her doors were always open to us. When my daughter was born, she would read to her when we visited. I will always remember her embrace and love. Blessings and prayers to the family.
I remember Iva Dane foundly. I met her through our children, being in school together, and becoming friends with many play-dates. We lived in Lincoln, in same neighborhood. One year when the boys were in boy scouts together. We had to make a zillion bows for the Christmas wreath sale. Iva Dane being a very patient women taught me how to tie the bows properly. God bless iva dane, and may she rest in peace.
