Iyesa A. Innes, 47 of Elyria, died August 23, 2021 of COVID-19 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born October 11, 1973 in Elyria and attended Elyria High School. She was a creative and artistic person and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Iyesa is survived by sons, Jason A., Justin A. and Jordan A.; daughter, Jayla A.; grandsons, Jordan, Jr., Jaydon and Jabbaar; granddaughters, Liana, Victoria and Nevaeh; mother, Nancy Innes; brother, Nekoli S. Innes and close friends, Sesa Barreiro and Larry Eccleston. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alice and Charles Cowle and an uncle Thomas Innes.
