Jacqueline L. KnepperJacqueline L. Knepper (nee Crowell), 77, of Elyria, died May 4, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland after a brief illness. She was born January 23, 1942 in Elyria and was a 1960 graduate of Elyria High School. After raising her children Jackie was employed as a supervisor by the State of Ohio Unemployment Office in Elyria. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Elyria and enjoyed time with her family, bus trips and lunches with her girlfriends. Jackie is survived by a daughter, Julie (Dale) Alheit of Elyria; sons, Jeffery (Lisa) Knepper of Grafton and James (Terry) Knepper of LaGrange; grandchildren, Amanda (Aaron) Mills and Alex Alheit, Rachal (Michael) Dicons, Brittney (Kevin) Camp, Jeffery (Nikki) Knepper and Melissa, James and Gage Knepper; great grandchildren, Gracelyn, Colson, Brooke, Caleb, Adelynn, Jase and Gavin. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty two years, Frederick C. Knepper in 2013; granddaughter, Dayle Jacqueline Alheit and parents, Jack and Mary Crowell. Friends will be received Wednesday May 8, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Thursday May 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Reverend Dalton D. Love officiating. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township. Memorial contributions may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6155 Rockside Road, Suite 202, Independence, Ohio 44131 or a charity of choice.
