James B. EckenroadJames B. Eckenroad, 70, of Lorain, died, September 21, 2018. He was born November 9, 1947 in Elyria and was a 1965 graduate of Elyria High School. Jim was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam in 1968. He had been employed at US Steel/Republic Steel in Lorain in quality control for twenty seven years retiring in 1995.Jim is survived by sisters, Jean Eckenroad of Lorain and Barbara Eckenroad of Brewster, OH; brother, Richard Eckenroad of Lorain; three nieces, four nephews and several great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Irwin and Evangeline Eckenroad; brother, Robert Eckenroad and a nephew, Ross Eckenroad.
