James Creed McElhaney, 54, of LaGrange, died August 15, 2016 surrounded by his family.He was born August 15, 1962 in Berea, was a 1980 graduate of Columbia High School and attended Lorain County Community College. He enjoyed time with his family and friends, music, attending concerts and Mopar cars. He was a collector of sports memorabilia, stamps and coins.James is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rhonda L. (nee Justice); daughters, Tiffany Marie and Lily Belle McElhaney and his beloved black lab Alexander, all of LaGrange.He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Geneva Parker and father, James Milton McElhaney.A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at LaGrange Church of God, 502 N. Center Street, LaGrange. Pastor Danny Wright will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria.
