James D. WilsonJames D. Wilson, 65, of Grafton, died September 12, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He was born February 1, 1952 in Elyria and was a 1970 graduate of Midview High School. Jim served a four year apprenticeship and received a degree as a tool and die maker. He was the former owner of Wilson Tool and retired from Alcoa Inc. in Medina, Ohio. Jim was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Elyria. He was also a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.Jim is survived his wife of forty seven years, Shirley (nee: Hardman); children, Christine Wilson and Michael (Annette) Wilson; grandchildren, Tara and Tori Rodriguez and Marc and Zachary Wilson; great grandchildren, Kaiden and Karsen Akers and Sadie Wilson, mother, Grace Wilson and brothers, William (Rochelle) Wilson and Scott (Margaret) Wilson.He was preceded in death by his father, Dale E.
