James Edward McKinleyJames Edward McKinley, 69, passed away peacefully Monday, October 30, 2017 at his residence in South Amherst following a long illness. Born in Toledo, Ohio March 15, 1948, he is the son of the late Ellsworth E. and Gladys J. McKinley (nee Warner).Jim maintained a passion for serving others throughout his life by developing church leaders, and helping support the planting of apostolic assemblies. He served as a member of Glorious Assembly Apostolic Church in Elyria until his passing.He was active in leadership and educational consulting for public and Christian school leaders. Jim co-authored several published books and was an avid photographer.Jim is survived by his Uncle David Warner, cousins Ann Newton and Scott Warner.Friends will be received for a luncheon and a time of sharing Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2:00 PM until the time of a 3:00 PM Celebration of Life service at Glorious Assembly Apostolic Church, 811 Lowell Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44110 [email protected] or Glorious Assembly Apostolic Church, 811 Lowell Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
