James E. KosciewiczJames E. Kosciewicz, 75, of Elyria, died, August 9, 2018. He was born May 16, 1943 in Cleveland and had also lived in Valley View, and Litchfield before moving to Elyria in 1992. Jim was employed as a machinist at Demag Corp in Strongsville from 1973 until retiring in 2005. He is a member of St. Mary Church, Elyria and a former member of St. Stanislaus Church, Cleveland. His interests included fishing and collecting sports memorabilia.Jim is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Matt) Sutherland; son, Christopher (Kathy) Kosciewicz; grandchildren, Ryan, Carli, Alexis and Jacob and a sister, Linda (Dale) Novak.He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Florence Kosciewicz and a sister, Carol Tolodziecki.Friends will be received Monday August 13, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 14, 2018 at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue Elyria. The Reverend Charles J. Ryba will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, Ohio.
