James D. “Jimbo” Smith, 57, of Elyria died August 7, 2019 in his home. He was born November 8, 1961 in Elyria. He was currently employed as a welder at Diamond Products and was formerly employed at Reed Salvage in Eaton Township. James is survived by brother, Robert D. (Gay) Smith of Elyria. He is preceded in death by his father, Carlton R. “Bob” Smith; and a sister, Helen Elizabeth Smith. Services were private.
