James P. Stock, 61, of Elyria, died September 8, 2012 at EMH Healthcare.He was born February 14, 1951 in Elyria and was a 1969 graduate of Elyria High School.He was formerly employed at Majoras Ambulance Service, Ridge Tool Company and Central Exterminating Company. His interests included baseball, model trains and he was a lover of animals.Jim is survived by a daughter Heather L. Ives; son Paul J. Stock; grandchildren, Trevor and Korbi Stock; mother, Marilyn J. Stock and brother, Jeffrey W. Stock, all of Elyria; brother Gary A. Stock of Cleveland; companion, Jody L. Larsen of Elyria and the mother of his children, Joan Lee Stock of Elyria.A memorial service will be Friday, September 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in First United Presbyterian Church, 200 East Ave. Elyria, OH with Reverend Rick Stein officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035 or First United Presbyterian Church.
