James R. Hansen, 72, of Elyria died February 24, 2015 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born September 9, 1942 in Rockford, Illinois and had operated a janitorial service at Shore West Office Building in Rocky River. He enjoyed his work and spending time with his wife and grandchildren. James is survived his wife of eighteen years Brenda (nee: Stump); step-daughters, Judith Jones and Connie Jenkins; grandchildren, Angela, Reginald, Robert, Sincere, Shakira, Anthony, Andre and Naomi and friends, Orville Miller and Steven Wooten.He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sarah Hansen; step-son, Paul Bouchonville; brother, Richard Hansen and a daughter, Patty Hansen.Services were held by the family. Arrangements were in the care of Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria.
