James Kasubienski Obituary
James R. Kasubienski, 65, of LaGrange Township, died November 11, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph. He was born August 27, 1948 in Elyria. James served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Great Sitkin during Viet Nam. James retired from Elyria Foundry and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.James is survived by a son, Shannon Kasubienski of Sullivan; daughters, Rachel Collins of LaGrange, Teresa (Tim) Bryer of El Paso, Texas and Dawn Hodge of Ashland; nine grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Arnett of LaGrange and Linda (Jeff) Heathcote of Elyria; brother Alex (Joan) Kasubienski of Amherst and his former wife, Robin.He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Kasubienski, Sr.; mother, Mary Jane Kasubienski Hough and step-father, Donald Hough. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to James R. Kasubienski memorial fund in c/o any First Merit Bank. Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service Elyria was in care of arrangements.
