James R. Rucker, 66, of Elyria died December 6, 2013 at EMH Healthcare. He was born March 29, 1947 in Wood County, West Virginia and has been a resident of Elyria since 1967. James was employed for 34 years in the maintenance department of the Elyria City Schools, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes and scrapping. Jim is survived by his wife of forty four years Janice E. (nee: Sanders); son, Jimmy Lee (Sarah) Rucker; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Madeline; brothers, Delmas and Perry and a sister, Loretta.He was preceded in death by his parents, Mason and Emagene Rucker and a brother, Gary.Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service handled arrangements.
