James Grimes Obituary
James Wesley Grimes, 67 of Strongsville and formerly of Elyria passed away peacefully at his home November 10, 2016. He was born October 16, 1949 in Grundy County, TN and was a 1967 graduate of Elyria High School. Jim had been employed by Faiwick Airflex Division of Eaton Corporation. A huge sports fan Jim coached his sons baseball team at Little League West in Elyria. His greatest joys were spending time with family and cheering for the Cleveland Indians. Jim is survived by his soulmate of forty nine years, Carla (nee: Reisig); son, Jason (Michelle); daughter, Jessica (Steve) Kozel; grandchildren, Jarrett, Jenna, Jordan, Jalen, Stephen and Zachary; great granddaughter, Gracyn; sisters, Alice (Chuck) Willard and Linda (Ron) Willard.He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ruby and a brother, Herbie.In respecting his wishes, the family will grieve privately.The Grimes family extends their appreciation to Southwest General Hospital & Hospice for their excellent care.Arrangements were in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
