Jean E. NaylorJean E. Naylor (nee: Draegert), 92, a life long Elyria resident, died, September 14, 2018 at The Abbewood. She was born August 18, 1926 in Elyria and was a 1944 Elyria High School graduate. For many years Jean was the secretary to the director of human resources at General Industries, Elyria form where she retired. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild of the church, a member and past president of Senior Women’s Fellowship, and also a member of the Elyria Parks and Recreation Chimers.Jean is survived by daughters, Cheryl J. (Robert) Stires of Tallmadge, Ohio, Pamela J. (Jamie) Christian of Elyria; son, Scott L. (Laura) Naylor of LaGrange; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a sister, Etta Prescott of Elyria.She was preceded in death by her husband of forty seven years, Lyle H. Naylor in 1998; parents, Esther and Raymond Draegert; step-father, Claude W. Gilmore and a sister, Rae Ann Smolko.
