Jean M. Igneczi (nee Thierry), 82, of Elyria, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home.She was born June 12, 1932 in Cleveland and attended Eaton High School, where she played softball. Jean was an avid longtime bowler and coached bantam and junior leagues at Stoneys Rainbow Lanes, where she was a member of The Ladies Bowling Association.Jean is survived by a son David J. (Terri) Igneczi of Elyria; daughters Kathryn M. (Dan) Auble of Wellington and Sandra J. (Paul) Stotridge of Canal Winchester; 8 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a brother Hank Thierry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Edward Igneczi in 2004; parents Henry and Elsie Thierry; brother Cliff Thierry and sisters Evelyn Pilot and Dorothy Waddell.Friends will be received Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 P.M. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A funeral service will be Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Reverend Dan Reinke and Chaplain Chuck Boals of the Elyria Fire Department will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
