Jean Roberts, 74, resident of Wesleyan Village, Elyria, peacefully went with Jesus unexpectedly October 10, 2019. She was born July 16, 1945 in North Ridgeville, Ohio to the late Rowland and Thelma (nee Dann) Worcester. Jean is survived by daughter, Tina Kobylski (Scott); twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Danny; sister, Lorna; and several nieces and nephews. She was welcomed home by her son, Tony Roberts; husband, James Roberts; and many loved ones. Above all, Jean loved Jesus. She worshiped and praised Him daily. Her favorite worship song was “I’m in love with Jesus.” She thanked Jesus for everything, for her sneezes, her hiccups, her animals, and loved ones. But, my oh my, was she stubborn and feisty! She had the best sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Wesleyan Village, 807 West Avenue, Elyria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035 or sent to 240 Spruce Street, Elyria.
