Jean S. Fetterman (nee Shepherd), 93, formerly of Grafton, died March 27, 2017.She was born September 19, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio and was a graduate of Lakewood High School. Jean was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Elyria and First Church Women; Order of Eastern Star; Ki-Queens and a former Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and traveling. Jean is survived by her daughters Cathy McHugh, Beth Brooks, Jeanne and son-in-law Ian Paton, Barb and son-in-law Kris McLean and a son Robert Fetterman-Ojha and son-in-law Surojit Ojha; grandchildren Chris McHugh, Megan McHugh, Michael Brooks, Amy Simms, Arjay Brooks, Tyson Mclean, Bryce McLean, and Colin Mclean and great-grandchildren Aiden Brooks, Keira and Lee Simms, JP and Jenny Jean McHugh and Madison McLean. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert J. Fetterman in 2003 and parents Alexander and Katherine Shepherd. Friends will be received Friday, April 14, 2017 from 10 A.M. until the time of an 11:00 a.m. service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Burial will be in Lakewood Park Cemetery, Rocky River. Memorial contributions may be made to Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, 10216 Lee Road Boynton Beach, FL 33473-8303.
