Jeanne P. Charles, 76, of Elyria, died December 31, 2022 of cardiac arrest. She was born December 14, 1946 in Cleveland was a 1964 graduate of St. Joseph High School, Cleveland. She received her degree as an LPN from Jane Adams School of Practical Nursing in Cleveland. For many years, she has been involved in home health care. Throughout her life, her catholic faith has been a source of support and comfort. Jeanne is survived by husband of 48 years, Theodore “Ted”; daughters, Tiffany Charles and Trina Charles (Todd McKenzie); brothers, Joseph and John Battaglia; and sisters, Joanne Guay (Burt), Jane Weinapple (Bobby), Judith Battaglia (Markus Schatz) and Jennifer Battaglia. She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Ruby Battaglia and a brother, James Battaglia. Services for the family were in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria.
