Jeffrey Allen White, 63, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly February 17, 2022. He was born September 3, 1958 in Elyria and resided in Elyria most of his life. He was a 1976 graduate of Elyria High School and received a bachelor degree from Bowling State University in 1982. Jeff was employed as the recreation director for Oberlin College. He had also been an intramural and club sports director, head varsity coach and a faculty teacher for Oberlin College. He loved sports, played minor league baseball, and spent time refereeing and umpiring youth sports throughout the year. Jeff is survived by his son, Joshua Castro-White; first wife and mother of his children, Cynthia Castro-White and former spouses, Ronda Parks Archer and Renee Gallagher. He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly “Peg” Roberts and a son, Jacob Castro-White. A memorial service for family and close friends will be at a later date.
