Jessica C. Wirth (nee: Yorks)Jessica C. Wirth (nee: Yorks), 36, of Elyria, died, December 23, 2017. Born May 4, 1981 in Elyria, she was a 1999 graduate of Elyria High School and a 2003 graduate of Bowling Green State University. Jessica was formerly employed at Wesleyan Village, Elyria, Northridge Health Care Center, North Ridgeville and was currently Director of Senior Services at Oberlin Neighborhood Alliance.Whenever anyone thinks of Jessica, the first thing they will tell you about is her smile. It could light up the night and make anyone feel comfortable. She always had a big smile, kind words, and a hug to offer anyone she met. To know her was definitely to love her. Jessica enjoyed many things, but her greatest joys in life came from her children, Chloë and Jeff. She also loved spending time with family and friends, whether it was a quiet evening in or a night out for a concert. Her bubbly personality, genuine kindness and infectious smile will be missed by many.In addition to her children Jessica is survived by; sisters, Desi (Scott) Justin of Oberlin and Angela Helbig of Elyria; grandmothers, Peggy J. Yorks and Naioma Stephenson both of Elyria; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffery Yorks in 1988 and mother, Wilma Helbig in 1998; grandfathers, David Yorks and Paul Stephenson and an aunt, Nancy Christman.Friends will be received Thursday December 28, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Friday December 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Reverend Stacy Terrell will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the college fund for her children, Chloe and Jeff in care of Desi R.
