Joan Masters Obituary
Joan H. Masters (nee: McIlvain), 88, of Elyria died April 9, 2015 at her home. She was born July 16, 1926 in New York City, New York and in 1954 moved with her husband and daughter to Elyria where she raised her family. Joan is survived by a daughter, Deborah and sons, Philip, Jr., Joseph, Anthony, David, Paul and John. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty nine years, Philip A. Masters, Sr. in 2003; sons, Patrick in 1966 and Andrew in 2013; parents, Joseph and Marie McIlvain and brothers, Richard, Joseph and Raymond McIlvain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday April 14, 2015 at 11:00 at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 611 Lake Avenue, Elyria. The Reverend Father Albert Veigas will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice, 2500 East 22nd Street, Cleveland 44115.
