JoAnn Fekete Obituary
JoAnn D. Fekete, 79, of North Ridgeville, died June 4, 2020 at her home. She was born October 4, 1940 in Canton, Ohio and graduated from Central Catholic High School. She had lived in Lorain County for the past 48 years. JoAnn worked as a supervisor in billing and collections for GC Services in Lakewood Ohio before retiring from Ohio Renal Group. She enjoyed her friends, volunteering for North Ridgeville Community Care and as a Red Coat for the Theatre District in downtown Cleveland. She also enjoyed playing bridge, crocheting and cross stitch. JoAnn is survived by former husband and long-time friend, Michael Fekete; her children, Steffanie (Jerry) Hatcher of Avon, Ohio, Kim (Marvin) Osborn of Amherst, Ohio, and Thomas (Tonya) Hocking of Mission Viejo, CA; grandchildren, Larry Jr., Joanna, Lauren, Ryan, April, Christopher, Jonathan, Javier, Ada, Tyler, Krista, Scotty, Heven, Anastasia, Brooke, Seth, Joshua, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Cameron, Liam, Makya, Dakota, Kennedy, Aubrey, Lena, Penelope, Larry III, Dylan, Roman, Damian, Cayson, Ellie, Ryder, Ahmiah, Saylor, Sawyer, Madalyn, Emilia, Andres and Makayla; and a great-great grandson, Mateo. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred (nee Messerly) Watkins. A memorial mass will be Tuesday, September, 8, 2020 at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville at 7:00 pm. Reverend Robert J. Franco will officiate.
