JoAnn Dugan Obituary
JoAnn Dugan, 87, of Elyria, died, November 2, 2021 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Port Clinton, OH. She was born October 27, 1934 in Turtle Creek, PA where she lived for twenty three years and was a 1952 graduate of Turtle Creek High School. She had resided in Trafford, PA for six years and was employed as a draftsman at Union Switch and Signal in Swissvale, PA. JoAnn has lived in Elyria for the past fifty eight years and was employed as a baker at Elyria City Schools from where she retired. She was a fifty year member of First United Methodist Church, a member of Stone City Chapter # 325 Order of the Eastern Star and Tri-AMS. JoAnn loved the beauty of nature and was an artist whose talents included oil painting, ceramics and creating cards. JoAnn is survived by her husband of sixty four years, Joe Dugan; daughters, Kim (Aaron) Sullivan of Elyria and Sandy Cane of Port Clinton; grandsons, Adam (Angie) Cane and Dan (Miranda) Cane; step-son, Collin Conley; great grandchildren, Elliotte Christine Cane and Oliver Scott Cane and sisters, Marlene Pushkar and Karen Tomich. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Henry Straley; brother, Charles Straley and a son-in-law, Dr. Bruce Cane. A memorial service will be at a later date.
