John Krawcheck Obituary
John Krawcheck, 73, of Elyria passed away December 1, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born October 7, 1948 in Berea, Ohio and was a 1966 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. He attended Miami University of Ohio. From 1969-1973 John served his country in the US Navy which included fighting in the Vietnam War. John then pursued his love of automobiles working at several dealerships for over 40 years. In later years, he could be found enjoying time at local car shows. He was an avid reader and record collector with his favorite genres being 1960’s Rock N Roll and jazz. John treasured his family. His wife, Faye, was truly his best friend. They enjoyed doing everything together. John always looked forward to time with family and spoiling all the family pets. He also followed his grandchildren’s school activities and sporting events rarely missing a game or match. John is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Faye Elizabeth (nee Hemmer); daughter, Jennifer (Sean) Rishel of Elyria; son, Jason Krawcheck of North Ridgeville; and grandchildren, Eric and Hannah Rishel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Marie Krawcheck. Friends will be received Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A private interment will take place in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio at a later date.
