John Gibbons Obituary
John W. Gibbons, 45, of Wellington, died September 9, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained from a two vehicle accident. He was born November 13, 1975 in Elyria and was a 1994 graduate of Midview High School. For the past 13 years, John has been employed at Joe Dirt Construction in Wellington. He loved sports and the outdoors, especially camping, kayaking, fishing and swimming with his dogs. John is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mindi (nee Dunn); daughters, Kelsie (fiancé, Tyler Reisinger), Savannah, Madyson and Corryn; grandson, Gavin William Reisinger; grandson to be born next month, Garrett John Wayne Reisinger; niece, Izabella, whom he considered his fifth daughter; mother, Terri (Bo) Wilson of Wellington; brothers, Bill (Donna) Gibbons and Ken (Jo) Gibbons; sister, Wendy (Joe) Harrison, all of Elyria; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William R. Gibbons in 2001 and grandparents, Ethel and Ralph Gibbons and John and Ruth Klipstein. Friends will be received Friday, September 17, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria.
