Joyce Ann Blevins (nee Bazilius), 64, of Elyria, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 26, 2011, surrounded by family at her residence. She was born January 17, 1947 in Cleveland and has lived in Elyria since 1969.She enjoyed cooking, ceramics, crafts, collecting angels and spending time at Marblehead, OH with friends and family. Joyce is survived by her husband of 47 years, Clarence A.; children Tammy (David) Wearsch, Clarence (Holly) Blevins, Jr., Richard (Barbie) Blevins and Donald (Bernadeath) Blevins, all of Elyria and Thomas (Vikki) Blevins and Theresa (Darrell) Rhoads, all of Lorain; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters Sandra (Harold) Chinn of Burbank, OH, Eleanor Maynard of Elyria and Nancy Bazilius of N. Ridgeville; brothers Joseph Bazilius, Jr. of Strongsville and Jim Bazilius of Kemah, TX and many beloved nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by parents Joseph Bazilius and Emma (nee Peters) Bazilius; daughter-in-law Karen Blevins (nee Pendergrass) in 2004, father and mother-in-law Louis and Lona (nee Paine) Blevins and brother-in-law Edgar Maynard. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria, where a funeral service will be Monday 11:00 a.m. Pastors Jim and Bob Blevins will officiate and burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Life Hospice, 5255 N.
