Jude A. Brattoli, 51, of Elyria, passed away at his home Thursday, September 27, 2012 following a brief illness.He was born September 18, 1961 in Elyria and was a 1980 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. He attended classes at LCCC studying police science.Jude worked in automotive sales at Budget, Nationwise and Advance Auto Parts. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars and remodeling his house. He was a member of the For the Love of Poetry club in North Ridgeville, having achieved the publishing of one book and was working on another. His greatest passion was spending time with his granddaughter, family and friends. He always had a joke to share and loved to help everyone.Jude will be missed by his wife of 29 years, Sharon (nee Maruna); daughter Crystal (Dan) Polovich; granddaughter, Emmylou Polovich (his Sugar pud); parents John and Evelyn Brattoli; sisters Rita (Sonny) Dukeman, Karen (Dave) Brintnall, Mary (Mike) Karleskint and Bonnie Cox; brothers Mark (Lorraine), Jim (Annie) and Johnny Brattoli; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.Friends will be received Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. Closing prayers will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria. Reverend Frank P.
