Judith K. Brown (nee Diewald), 64, of Elyria, died March 18, 2013 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the past several years.She was born November 30, 1948 in Elyria and attended Elyria High School. She loved being a mother and grandmother and also enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts and word search puzzles.Judy is survived by daughters Frances Brown and Christine Eastman, both of Sandusky; Linda (Leo) Speer of Nancy, KY and Jamie Diewald of Nashua, Iowa; eighteen grandchildren; sister Janet Diewald of Elyria; aunts; a niece; nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her mother Florence Diewald (nee Crowley) in 1978; father Leroy Diewald in 2001; brothers David Diewald in 1982 and Larry Diewald in 1999; daughter Judith Thomas in 1998 and grandson Aaron Eastman in 1995.A memorial service will be Thursday 1:30 p.m. March 21, 2013 at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH 44035. Reverend Robert Gross, Pastor of Lake Avenue United Church of Christ will officiate.
